It isn't the moral failings of the Right, or democrats and socialism that are to blame for inequality and poverty, at least not on their own. It’s our broken government, which she plays a large role in these days.
This is why she will never be a successful politician. She can’t preach partisan nonsense and believe she's doing any good when she thinks everything is "their" fault, while, at the same time, believing she's helping by preaching division. Being hell-bent on partisan politics leaves her blind and looking like fool.
At the very least she should be right when casting her terrible stones of rhetoric from within her glass house.
“In 2018, for the first time in 11 years, the official poverty rate was significantly lower than 2007.”https://www.census.gov/library/stories/2018/09/poverty-rate-drops-third-consecutive-year-2017.html
That's not to say Trump made it better, because it's more complicated than that. But she doesn't even bother to look into the issue before using her megaphone to declare it's the fault of only
the Right's moral failings. This issue goes back decades, and there's no innocent party.
Bridges, not pitchforks, is the only forward. When she blames republicans for inequality and poverty without knowing the facts she hurts us all. It's the fault of government over time. All government. Until the government is working again they are all EQUALLY to blame. Both sides must stop this bullshit and take a step to the center to get governing running again. And sending a bunch of legislation to the Senate doesn't count. The reason they are stuck there isn't because of McConnell, they are stuck because gridlock is the chosen option due to partisan rhetoric like this tweet by AOC, and others like Trump, McConnell, and Graham. Democrats did the same gridlock in the Senate in 2014, so let's not pretend this is one sided.
She's part of the problem, and until governing is more important to her than her Twitter account she will continue to be. She uses Twitter in a very similar fashion as Trump. All pandering with little regard for truth and targeted to a specific, and small overall percentage, of Americans. The trouble is more than just that group see it. They both do it at everyone's expense by gridlocking government with partisan rhetoric. They don't have to be morally equivalent to be equally damaging.
If you follow her tell her quit this shit.https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1182280367878938625
