🚙 Scientists consider that the 15 biggest freight ships emit more sulfur than all the cars on earth, on a one year period, due to the weak regulations in this sector. ⠀

🐳 Sonar from ships highly effects sea life, the stress it causes results in decompression disease. Science has shown that whales and dolphins who get in touch with sonar end up throwing themselves upon the shore to slowly die of internal bleeding. 😔⠀

When you're starting to hear birdsong so you know it's time to start cutting your oranges in half to scoop out the fruit rather than peeling it all willy nilly so you can spend the 1-2 minutes it takes to cut hemp cord, tie it up to a tree, and add in bird food (dried up bread that had been about to be thrown out by the Food Bank). #crafttime

All in all, the total cost was like just a few cents for the footish of hemp cord I used.
I made up like 3 of these as I ate 1 and a half halves of fruit today.
Side note: rest of the year, you should save and use orange peels too as you can make a cleaner pretty easily by putting orange peels into a container filled up with vinegar. Just let it sit for like 4 weeks.

💥 Система 001 – это первая в мире система по очистке океана. Она установлена в большом тихоокеанском мусорном пятне. По заявлениям создателей, система соберет половину находящегося там мусора за 5 лет. При этом, система абсолютно экологична: для её работы используется энергия солнца, ветра, морских волн 🌀
💥 Японские ученые в 2016 открыли бактерии, которые производят ферменты, способные очень быстро разрушать и поедать пластик PET.
Применять этот фермент в промышленных масштабах еще не начали, но ученые уже сумели усилить его мощность – разложение пластиковой бутылки начинается в течение нескольких дней!
💥Технологии по переработке пластика, существующие сейчас, позволяют создавать их него только непрозрачное волокно. Благодаря же обнаруженному ферменту, появляется возможность перерабатывать пластик… в такой же пластик! Значит, есть вероятность, что необходимость производить новый пластик пропадет совсем 🙌🏻
