I have done it again!
Created a basic web app and turned it into a system, self-contained, portable, app using a little Go trick that allows it to run locally, offline, using the default browser on the computer as its GUI.
This not only allows to carefully test the app's behaviour locally , but also allows me to easily share it with anyone. And that's what I'm about to do.
You can download "my collection book of Old Vegan Recipes" from this link
for Windows OS, and from this link
for Linux OS. Create a folder somewhere in your computer, put the zip/tar.gz file in it and unzip/untar it. Execute the gocollectbook file, and the app will magically:) open on your screen. (Don't forget to read the README file)
Consider this my Xmas gift to you.
Talking about Christmas...
You may want to give someone else (or yourself) a little gift.
So, I can also send you a personalized "my collection book of" with a title of your choice in the place of "Old Vegan Recipes" for the price of a coffee. Send me an e-mail to manuelcaeiro(at)programmer(dot)net and I'll explain you how.
Note: I had to re-post this. Sorry @Redj2
, I know you already had shared the previous post. If you wish I can explain you why in private conversation.
