stunned Perm in central Russia on Saturday as he broke the world record of the longest city walk.
With 250 kilogram equipment on his shoulders, Kuhne walked one kilometer from the local theater to the Legislative Assembly at the height of a 12-story building. The tightrope walk entered the World Guinness Record book being the longest one in city conditions.
"Fear is the biggest barrier to progress. And there is one man who risks, not remembering himself, so that we understand that he stands between life and death," said artistic director of 'Street Theater Festivals' Vladimir Gurfinkel.
Friedrich "Friedi" Kuhne, 29, also holds the free solo highline world record as two years ago, he balanced at a height of 200 meters above a 110-meter-long slackline in southern France.
